I received this tester about two weeks ago. I immediately tested every lead acid battery I and my neighbor has. While the unit can be accurate, I present a word of caution. It is sensitive to the contact cleanliness. I tested my tractor battery and it recommended replacing it. Removing the tractor battery is somewhat difficult, so I purchased a new battery first. I took the old battery out and then tested it. With the battery connectors removed and the terminals cleaned, it tested good. Since the battery was 5 years old, I replaced it anyway. So, I recommend before replacing a battery, to pull the connectors off, clean the terminals, and then test it again. I did not see this precaution in the manual, and think it is needed.

Overall, I found the tester easy to use and do recommend it with the above precaution.
