Use Big Cranks in my Goldwing and in my 750 Vulcan. No more regulator problems in the Vulcan. Cold weather starting is no problem. Highly recommended for all applications.

A weak point on the '83 Honda GL650 Silverwing is the starter, which was carried forward from the GL500. It just barely turns over with a standard lead-acid battery, even when fresh. It will eventually eat the starter clutch and/or stick the starter solenoid. The Big Crank battery had a higher CCA rating at a reasonable price. Now my starter sings when I hit the button.
