Works great to mount small battery in an open place easy to get to space on an machine to wire the starter. Easy to open and ck water and protect a person from getting acid and such on them. Keeps battery clean!

I selected this battery box to hold a 12V battery in an ultralight. It more than meets my needs and expectations. I expect a long, useful sevice life from this product. Heavy duty, durable materials and construction, flexible installation options, and quality all for a great price.

I used the Norco group U1 battery box as a secure container to mount a battery on the rear deck of my ATV. this was needed to power the electical system of my add-on ATV snowblower. I did not want to untilize the existing electical system on the ATV.

Follow up - not good in cold weather

In cold weather (it was just below freezing tonight), the strength is lost because the plastic becomes fragile. I'm buying two new ones, and will strap the battery in better, to reduce the shock load.
